Summer program 2025: Prieros
Prieros is a little village situated about 1 hour Southeast of Berlin and about 30 minutes from Berlin Brandenburg International Airport. The location between Brandenburg’s lakes and forests will be as inspiring as the work with our coaches with international reputation. Besides the daily work there will be plenty of opportunities for swimming, hiking, barbecuing and enjoying the nature.
In Summer 2025 we are happy to offer a two week program in Prieros, with an option to book either just the first week or the entire two weeks. On the last day of both weeks there will be concerts in the village.
One week program
28th July – 3rd August 2025
This program will focus on polishing the participant’s audition repertoire by enhancing their technical, dramatic and musical skills. Detlef Soetler will be your dramatic coach, Kaine Hayward will be your technical coach, Chad Vindin will be your musical coach and Suyeon Bang will be your rehearsal pianist.

09.00 – 10.00 Breakfast
10.00 – 13.00 Individual coaching (voice – acting – music)
13.00 – 14.00 Lunch break
14.00 – 18.00 Individual coaching (voice – acting – music)
18.00 Dinner & leisure time
In addition there will be several group lectures:

Masterclass with Detlef Soelter: Stagecraft for opera

Masterclass with Kaine Hayward: An objective approach to theatrical singing

Audition and career consulting with Ingo Jander, opera agent from ZAV.

Two week program
28th July – 10th August 2025 in Prieros
This program consists of two parts; the first week is the one week program from 28th July to 3rd August outlined above. While it is possible to only participate in the first week, the second week is only available in conjuction with the first. 4th - 10th August will consist of staged operatic scenes with a concert performance of these scenes on the final day. You will be directed by Detlef Soetler and conducted by Dr. Alexandros Diamantis. Kaine Hayward will continue with technical coaching focusing on the roles you will be singing, while Suyeon Bang will be your rehearsal pianist.

In addition to the specified scenes, we suggest the participants of the Two Week Program also prepare arias from that chosen role which could also be presented at the final concert. Eg. "Che gelida manina" (Rodolfo), "Dove sono i bei momenti?" (Contessa).
